New Mexico Librarian Forces Principal to Adhere to Book Challenge Rules

Principal Dan Padilla of Socorro High School in New Mexico has reversed a recent decision to remove copies of "3x3 Eyes" (or "Sazan Eyes," in Japanese) from the school library following a parent's complaint about nudity, violence, and sex in the popular manga series, says Socorro High School Media Specialist Marian Royal.

Pittsburgh man starts new magazine to help young urban dads

PITTSBURGH - Anwan Wesley is doing it for the 'hood. Next month, this young black father of two is set to publish his first full edition of Fatherhood, a magazine aimed at young urban dads. The publication grew out of the 24-year-old's search for parenting information to which he could relate.

"I was looking for something to help me out," said Wesley, who lives in East Liberty.
